Club Friday Theory of Love: A Mother's Mirror

Overview

Love, though arising between two people, can only last if both families accept it, particularly the mother. There's a young woman so perfect, almost celestial, that no one dares reach for her. She has a close friend, a handsome young man who's always been by her side. He acts as her personal bodyguard, warding off ill-intentioned men. She can come and go from his home as if she were another of his mother's children. Everything takes a turn, however, when she transitions from friend to girlfriend. In his mother's eyes, she's stealing her son's love away.
