The courtroom is completely filled with spectators. Lawyer Ayame Hanajin, the defendant, mutters with blank eyes. "What was that... the crime I committed...?" Thus, the trial of a "murder case" begins. Time rewinds to one year ago. Minamoto Toya (Akihisa Shiono) appears before Ayame with a quiet madness. "Why are you here...?" "I was waiting for you." Toya slowly approaches Ayame, ignoring the bleeding Mogami Yoko (Misuzu Kanno) who was pushed down the stairs.
