In the early nineties, Bárbara lives the second stage of her relationship with the King in the monarch's best moment (Seville Expo, Barcelona Olympics...). Instead, she has to pawn jewelry to make ends meet. The work resists. Soon the shocks arrive, the house where the couple met is full of cameras and, at the request of the King, they change the meeting place to Barbara's own residence. From here on, a series of shady events take place (espionage, recordings, blackmail...) and Bárbara will make a series of decisions motivated by negative influences that will lead her, years later, to be threatened with death. Suddenly, María García, the girl who left Totana to become an artist, finds herself involved in a power war, extortion, blackmail and video tapes. Everything exploded in 1997 after the theft from her house of sensitive material (photos, audios and videos...) They say that they bought her silence, she has a very different version of herself.

Through her own story we will delve into her traumatic childhood, her artistic past, the loves and disappointments of her life, her loneliness, her fears and, finally, we will learn the truth about her clandestine relationship with the King.
