Kartik is married to Anushri, who is a successful television journalist from Mumbai. After being married for more than 7 years, Anushri is excited to start a family of her own. But her husband is not quite ready for it. She, being a diligent and understanding wife, is conflicted whether she should go with her husband's wish or follow her own motherly instincts. Kartik's battle is more internal. His life's biggest conundrum is coming in terms with his own sexuality. His love for his boyfriend, Cris and his responsibilities towards Anushri has put him in a dilemma. Cris is tired of being kept a secret and wants his boyfriend to walk away from his marriage to be with him. He is brave and unapologetic about himself and his choices but Kartik and him clearly aren't on the same page. Set in Mumbai, 'Loose ends' is a messy tale on love, friendship, sexuality and the crossroads we often find ourselves at, between relationships and society.
