Sekaten is a short documentary exploring one of Javas most cosmic festivals. The old world and the new are colliding and creating interesting images and sounds. Sekaten is a popular festival marking the birth of the Islamic prophet Mohammed and is the only week of the year when the mystical Gamelan Sekaten music is performed.
