Overview

The documentary records the cultural traditions and everyday life of the quilombola community of João Surá, located in the Vale do Ribeira, between the States of Paraná and São Paulo. The older inhabitants of the quilombo tell their wishes and dreams for the preservation of their ancestral culture in the new generations that continue to live in this distant location.
