Overview

When the rich brewer Dillinger wants to withdraw 100,000 euros in cash, Gerhard Schwegler, head of the Volkskassen, refuses to pay out the money: Dillinger's son Daniel had abandoned Schwegler's daughter Marie two days before the wedding.
