Ann Murray stars as Xerxes, whose love for Romilda (Valerie Masterson) sets off a series of intrigues in this live performance of Handel's classic opera by the English National Opera. Sir Charles Mackerras conducts the English National Opera Orchestra in a performance that won the coveted Laurence Olivier Opera Award.
