The Hushed Up Music
2013

Overview
The breach caused by rock-and-roll music in Mexican society between 1956 and 1964 led many women to join in and promote that change. Unfortunately, the role of women in this musical genre has been historically neglected. This documentary is an attempt to introduce some of these forgotten protagonists of rock, and to assert their place in history.
