Overview

In an isolated mountain village, Juan lives with his stepdaughter Manuela, shielding her from the world out of fear she may inherit the mental illness that led her mother to a tragic, violent end. As Manuela begins to break free and connect with Antonio, a kind-hearted young man with an intellectual disability, buried fears resurface.
