Yaguará y Betania

Overview

Between 1980 and 1986, the Betania Hydroelectric Power Plant was built in the municipality of Yaguará - Huila - Colombia, flooding 7,400 hectares of arable and livestock land, which brought with it different impacts on the economic, cultural and environmental sector of this municipality.
