I Lost It At The Movies
1967
Overview
Black and white UCLA Student Film, preserved by the UCLA Film and Television Archive. A narrative short of one woman's existential crisis over her love for French and classic Hollywood cinema. She goes to the movies, cries off her eyeliner, and smokes cigarettes, leading her life in the spirit of Lauren Bacall. Yet her romantic life falls short of the cinematic arc.
