Overview

The fires that started on 28 July could only be brought under control on the 12th day. A total of 240 fires broke out in 47 provinces. 8 people died. 5 provinces, 18 districts and 99 villages were seriously injured in the fires. 31 thousand hectares of agricultural land, close to 100 thousand hectares of forest areas were burned.
